We named our company “Sell a Classic Car” because that’s what we do: we buy and sell classic cars. For the most part, we buy any classic car. If you go through our site, you’ll find pages where there are classic cars that we’re looking to buy. However, we buy plenty of classic cars that aren’t in those pages, as well. That being said, there are some things we’re looking for sellers to do before we buy their classic cars. In this blog, we’ll touch on some ways that you can make your classic car that much more attractive before we buy it.
We Buy Any Classic Car that’s Inspected, Mostly
Before you consider selling your classic cars to us, we strongly encourage you to get your car inspected. Of course, we mean that you get it independently inspected. Find a mechanic or inspection service you trust in your area. This heads off any potential problems that we might find with the vehicle. Moreover, it ensures that we can give you the best price possible for your classic car. It’s better for you and it’s better for us.
Have your Documentation
We’re always happy to take care of the paperwork that comes with selling a classic car. Indeed, we see it as one way that we can make this entire process easier on our clients. However, we do recommend that you have all of your inspection together when you approach us about selling your classic car. It’s our general policy to buy our cars directly from owners with the documentation. That way, everything is clean and neat. We’ll take care of paperwork after that.
Best State Possible
In the end, we prefer to buy vehicles that are in their best restoration state. That doesn’t mean that they have to be good as new, but it does mean that they shouldn’t have rust, bumps or leaks. We don’t sell cars with rust, but we have sold vehicles that had rust repair. By that same token, we’ve fixed cars that do leak, but if your vehicle has an unfixable leak, we can’t sell it. Bumps are a fact of life with some vehicles, but the more you take care of them, the better a price we’ll be able to offer for your classic car.
Not Just Car Sellers, Car Fans
We know how important these vehicles are. That’s because they’re important to us, too. Before we ever even considered buying and selling classic cars, we were just folks who really loved classic cars. So, we know that selling your classic car isn’t a decision you make lightly. That’s why we want to give you as much possible for your classic car. If you follow the advice above, you may have a classic car that’s worth a lot of money. Of course, we can give you a great price for it and pay you in cash. To learn more, head to our site or call us at (310) 399-3990.
