As a global name, Mercedes-Benz has a history dating back to the early 1900’s Germany. Entrepreneur, Emil Jellinek, created the trademark in 1902, naming the first Mercedes after his daughter. The first model was a fusion between Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft’s Mercedes and Karl Benz’s 1886 Patent-Motorwagen. Together they created the Mercedes-Benz business model. Over 100 years later, the Mercedes-Benz company has released every which type of transportation vehicle, but the most popular and widely known is the car model. As one of the first gasolene powered vehicles, the Mercedes-Benz was the first of its kind, and more unique than anything else. After so many successful models, both for cars and other vehicles, Mercedes-Benz has remained as one of the top competitors and distributors in the motor vehicle world.
