Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II

The Silver Shadow II  was produced for three years from 1977-1980. The car was very similar to the original Shadow but there were a few small but significant changes. These changes mainly improved the steering and handling of the car. The original steering mechanism was replaced with rack and pinion and the adjustments made to the suspension meant that handling of the car was noticeably better. Exterior changes included alloy and rubber bumpers instead of chrome. The grilles located beneath the headlamps of the original Shadow were non-existent in the Shadow II.

Special Edition Models: In 1979, 75 Silver Shadow vehicles were specially designed to acknowledge the 75 year anniversary of Rolls Royce. These special edition models sported the original red ‘RR’ badges and  were available either in pewter or silver paint for the exterior . The interior was available with grey leather, red carpet and special red piping.
