The 911 Turbo has been notoriously known as the Widowmaker, although the 1977 Porsche 930 didn’t have many upgrades save for the change from 15- to 16-inch standard wheels. The car was visually distinct, and it was hard to miss the voluptuous fender flares. The front of the car used a plastic splitter that extended past either side of the bumper and wide front fenders.
With the majority of the weight being in the rear of the car, it’s almost as if one has to lose control in order to gain control through a turn.
This car was the very first turbocharged production car. It actually came about because of Porsche’s keen interest in continuing its racing enterprise.
