Additional Stats:

In a subtle departure from the previous version of the model, the Porsche 356B brought forth a variety of small changes and improvements upon its predecessor. This included, throughout its four-year run, twin-engine lid grilles, an external fuel filler in the right front wing, and a larger rear window in the coupe version. The different versions of the Porsche 356B each continued to implement new ways to enhance the lineup.

The Porsche 356 line was created by Ferdinand Porsche II, son of the company founder, as a means to develop a small car with a powerful engine that results in an overall more pleasant driving experience. Throughout every new iteration of the model line, every change was meant to develop the concept of a small powerful car further, delivering a consistently better driving experience.
