The penultimate year to the Amphicar’s last year on the lot. Knowing that sales were slowing down, marketing could only do so much to entice drivers to buy this unique vehicle. Although the Amphicar was utilized in movies such as Inspector Clouseau and The Laughing Woman in later years, a chameo does not exactly prompt sales. Nonetheless the 1960’s continued to be graced with a crowd pleasing vehicle.
