A dramatic departure from prior models, the XK150 was made from 1957-1961. Instead of the split screen windshield that had been synonymous with Jaguar, these had a one-piece windscreen. A leather dashboard was the height of luxury, aided by the thinner doors which made for even more interior space than prior models. A major part of what makes these Jaguars different from others were all the different colors they were available in. For example, they came in familiar colors, like red, black and white. However, you could also purchase them in Indigo Blue, Pearl Gray, Cotswold Blue, Cornish Grey, Sherwood Green and even British Racing Green.

Little details dominated the design of this particular Jaguar. For example, in some earlier models, drivers might have forgotten to leave on the front parking lights. To counteract that, these Jaguars had a little red light that let the driver know that those lights were still on. As with so many other Jaguars, the details make the car. Just because they added luxury, don’t think for a moment these Jaguars were slow. In fact, they had a higher top speed than their predecessors, maxing out at 132 mph. These came in coupe, roadster, drophead coupe, convertible or open two-seater. There are many ways to enjoy these incredible cars.
